Aftera long gap of 15 months I went to cinema. Actually I last saw Chandramugi and planned to saw Shivaji (only thalaivar padams…). But broke my thought and went to Vettayadu vilayadu. It’s a nice thriller sandwitched with a gentle romance. Its like what hero does in Manmadhan and Kadalkonden is done in VV by the Villain who were actually psycho medical students. Kamal as usual with good physique has done his job excellent. His stunts are rocking. Konja neram vandalaum nalla nadichirkanga prakashrajum kamalini mukarjeeyum. She is not seems to be a Bengali girl when seen in sarees. Appadiye tamizh ponna maridarnaga. That’s the beauty of saree. Editing by Andani is nice and comfort to watch. Harris scores in Partha mudal nalle.... And Manjal veyil... Manjal Veyil captures Newyork life very excellently. Newyorkum Jyothikavum very cute.

Director Gowtham once again taken the Cop story that he mentions in the beginning itself as another episode of police story (Kakka kakka part - II??) .Similarly he also names a character as Maya in VV as in KK (sentiment???). Dialogues are normal and some were born out of different thinking that deserves a mention here...which includes…..

Climax ithoda mudiyutha...

Neenga softwarea...? illa nan hardware….

Parthu 2 mani neram thane aguthu….? Atukkulava…

Illa ennaku 2 nimasham pothum……

And lyrics are written by the engineer turned poet kavingar Thamarai. She deserves a word for not using Tanglish and only pure Tamizh. (Keep it up..!) Finally director could have avoided most of the violence scenes, he could have made use of graphics or cartoons to show the violence if he wants to convey them.
Its worth to watch if u have not seen Manmadan and kadalkonden and KakkaKakka or Newyork city or Kamalini mukarjee (J
)
