Aiming at perfection....!
Today I came across a management theory…. On how to make oneself… perfect…..! This famous theory (oops! The author name I forgot!!!) aims at making oneself perfect by classifying his characteristics into 4 divisions.
Window opened | Unknown window |
Hidden window | Imaginary window |
E.g.: liking for sambar rice, fan of Ajith or simran
Like that things
Unknown window…:
This frame mainly consists of qualities / characters which are unknown to one but usually found and criticized by others.
E.g.: poor dressing sense (commented by others)
Nasty hair style etc…
Hidden window….:
This frame consists of those qualities which is known to that person alone and usually wants to hide it from others...
E.g.: his innate desires…which are contradictory to society…
Or some other things which are kept secret for some reason
Imaginary window….:
This window consists of imaginary things which a person perceives and or as a result of his hidden window and unknown window.
Now we come to the matter, what the author tells is a person must try to shrink the size of his hidden window first, and then he should concentrate on the unknown window by talking with others to know about their comments.
He emphasis that by reducing the size of unknown window and hidden window automatically the size of imaginary window will get reduced… and finally the whole space will be occupied by Known window which is a key for perfection….!
This concept is in someway similar to SWOT analysis of managerial theory
