Trail & Error
Daily I have to commute 40 minutes in the morning and 50 minutes in the evening to my work place and back to my room. I wanted to utilize these 1.30 hour usefully. So I tried out different strategies but all ending in vain.
Step 1:
Just to sleep, I tried this first method for 3 days. I rarely get sleep in the morning as I slept well in the nights for 8 hours. So I curtailed my night sleep to 7 hour and tried again. But to my vain it was not so useful. So this method was dropped.
Step 2:
Reading books. I tried this method for 3 days. I am currently reading “A complete collection of Gahlil Gibran” a whooping 800 page book. It was the testing material.
This also ended in vain thanks to the bad roads of pune which leads to the irregular eye movements while reading.
Step 3:
Once I was out my college I enrolled myself in Transcendental meditation class. One of the speclity of this method of meditation is it doesn’t require any special place to follow. We can follow it in bus, car, or even while sitting on a bed or chair. So I tried it out for a couple of days. Again oscillating positions and irregular speed movements contributed to its failure.
Finally I resorted to my old method of listening songs in my mobile and enjoying the roadside beauties of Pune.
