Me in blue mountain….!

This train starts from Mettupalayam at 19.30 reaches kovai 20.30 as a passenger and then starts from there at 21.00 as a super fast express….reaches Chennai by 5.00.
It was as Himalayan queue there as the next day is a working day after 4 days of holiday….and we have to travel in unreserved compartment…..!

Nothing is wrong when our “self” is concerned… we have to resort some unfair activities… isn’t..?If u cant tolerate this skip this passage.. please...! Finally we got two seats in the train in a back door manner (though I don’t like but what to do…?) with the “honorary” help of duty SI.

Again we had a conversation in the train….this time a software engg from standard chart bank and the father of a guy who is a BE (EEE) and goanna do MBA and also placed in slash support.

That old father enquired much abt the present day engg scenario, saturation point for the jobs in software market etc. Incidentally he asked my father a question because he himself was in a position to find the answer for that question! But today my father is really in that piquant situation though his decision doesn’t influence me…..!

The question which that father asked was, having got a job whether his son should join MBA or job…..??????

PSG....

It was on 16^th august when my MBA counseling was held at Government college of Technology (GCT)…..my rank is 134 / 76 (BC). As the session started up there were 63 (OC+BC) seats in PSG. So with little hope….I waited for my turn. But to my surprise I got a seat as some of the girls who ranked before me resorted to SSN college….suddenly I wasunder cloud nine….!

Mala mala Marudamalai…….:

This hill temple is the abode of lord muruga which is about 8 km from kovai town which became famous by chinnappa devar (devar films) and an item no. Marudamalai song. It was adi kirthukai day when I went to the temple so there was a heavy rush...but the temple is maintained well which is also famous for pambatti sittar, a saint lived there.

Coimbatore kusumbu….!

This is another experience….. (We all know Coimbatore and its people are famous for their jovial & sometimes annoying naughty speeches…! called - Coimbatore kusumbu….!)

I could witness this in my first hour of stay in kovai….

During a lunch at hotel….

Me: (at a server...) konjam sambar venum….

Server: Vera enna venum..?

Me: konjam sambar venum…

Server: Vera enna venum…?

Me: starring at him…..konjam sambar pothummmm…..

Server: athan vera ethuvum venumannu ketten….?

Me: sambar matum pothum….pothuma….?

Server: sari sir…..kondu varen…!

Me in kovai express:

It was 60^th Independence Day of our country. I was in Kovai express which starts from Chennai at 6.15, I catched it at Arakkonam at 7.30. We had a nice talk (though I remained silent all the way as my dad is with me..!) on all the contemporary topics ranging from kannagi statue to cultural damage done by Tamil cinema with the company of a partially blind literature student from Loyola and a lawyer.

I could witness the conversational ability of lawyers during the course of our talk…

Conversation goes on Tamil cinema……

Student: nowadays movies r not fit to be watched along with family… they induce vulgar, violence, crime….and they misled the today’s youth in evils way…….

Advocate: ok Mr. If I could agree with u, U r also among the youth today….isn’t?

Student: why not..?

Advocate: then tell me how u have been misled….and how u have been affected…?

Student: he quoted some films…and told…something…and ….
Actually I m having my own personal ethical principles and following that so that I am aware and away from such evils….

Advocate: (pat came the reply from advocate…)

That’s what I m arguing, if u have your own values and principles, why are you thinking like that, others are not having that same kind of personal values.. so is that everyone will have their own values and systems so that no any external element like cinema can induce them to take the wrong path….ok…?

Did u agree with the advocate..?

I am really stunned at this argumen of the advocate.

And finally reached kovai around 14.15 hrs…
